Program of the World Cup in Prague 2023

fiserova reichIn a month, the Canoe Slalom World Cup starts in Prague – Troja (8-11 June 2023). One of the most popular sports event of the year returns to the Vltava River for the nineteenth time. The organising team, led by two-time Olympic medalist Jiří Rohan, invites all sports fans and families to support and cheer for not only the Czech representatives in the fight for a medal and a valuable points in the Olympic qualification. This year, the race program starts unusually on Thursday, 8 June.

The races begin on Thursday, 8 June, with the afternoon qualifying races for male and female kayakers from 2 to 6 p.m. On Friday, 9 June, there will be the qualification of male and female canoeists from 8:30 a.m. From 1:45 p.m. the semifinals and 4:45 p.m. the finals of the K1 women and K1 men categories. On Saturday, 10 June, at 9:00 a.m. the semifinals of the C1 women category will start, followed by the C1 men semifinal, where the top ten in each category will meet in the fight for medals at 11:30 a.m.

Sunday will include a new Olympic event called kayak cross (CSLX) from 9 a.m. with the planned final at 11:15 a.m.
