Germany wins K1W teams, France has gold in C1M teams

K1WhlidkyTeam events of K1W and C1M closed 2018 European Senior Canoe Slalom Championships in Prague. German kaykers (Ricarda Funk, Jasmin Schornberg and Lisa Fritsche) became European champions in K1W. Silver medal goes to Austria (Corinna Kuhnle, Lisa Leitner, Viktoria Wolffhardt), bronze medal belongs to Czech girls (Kateřina Kudějová, Barbora Valíková, Veronika Vojtová).

Sunday´s semi-finals: Two races, four Czech qualifiers

valikovaThe 19th ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships continued with the K1 women and C1 men semi-finals on Sunday morning. The host Czech Republic had the full team in a battle and the strong field in the final will also be with the four Czechs. And they do want to fight for medals in the afternoon finals.

Four Czech boats advanced into Saturday’s final

fiserovaCzech paddlers have a big medal chance in the first final day. Four boats in categories C2 and K1M managed to qualify into finals. The additional penalty eliminated Tereza Fišerová from final in category C1, so the Czech Republic has no representation in this category.
