The four-day stop of the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague-Troja culminated on Sunday, 11 June, with an attractive new Olympic event kayak cross. In the men's section, the Swiss Dimitri Marx won supremely, and the British Kimberley Woods won among the women. Tereza Fišerová continued her medal success in this discipline and won silver in front of her home fans. The best of the Czech kayakers, Vít Přindiš, finished in the quarterfinals.

Saturday (June 10) in Prague's Troja belonged to the C1 competitions. The Czech fans could enjoy another medal, when Gabriela Satková won the bronze. Silver in the women's race went to Monica Doria Vilarrubla of Andorra, and the second gold from Prague goes to Australian Jessica Fox, who will celebrate her 29th birthday tomorrow. The Czech trio did not succeed in the final of the men's category. Slovenian Benjamin Savšek celebrates the gold, silver goes to Slovak Matej Beňuš and the bronze to France thanks to Jules Bernardet.

In the early evening of Friday (9 June), the K1 men and women finals ended the competition day in Prague - Troja. Among the men, all Czech boats made it to the final, and in the end the home team took the top two places. Jiří Prskavec defeated the rest of the starting field in a breath-taking final, Vít Přindiš won the silver, and the bronze goes to Italy thanks to Giovanni De Gennaro. Australian Jessica Fox rules in the women´s category, second is Ricarda Funk from Germany and third place goes to Mallory Franklin of Great Britain.

The World Cup in Prague-Troja offered the qualification of male and female canoeists in the Friday morning program (9). The best qualification runs belonged to the French competitors Marjorie Delassus and Lucas Roisin. Just like yesterday, all six Czech boats advanced from the qualification.

The opening of the Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague - Troja (8-11 June 2023) was a hundred percent success for the Czech representatives. Kayaker Jiří Prskavec is heading to Friday's semi-finals from the first place in the qualification, Jakub Krejčí took sixth place and Vít Přindiš took eleventh place. Among the women, Tereza Fišerová finished fifth, Antonie Galušková from fourteenth place and Amálie Hilgertová as 18th advanced to the semi-finals. Already tomorrow, six Czech competitors will be fighting for medals.

The ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague - Troja 2023 (8-11 June 2023) is a second race of the ICF series and it starts this Thursday 8 June from 14:00 with the K1 women and men category. It is already the 19th World Cup organised in Prague - Troja. In the start lists, we can see the Olympic and world champions like Jiří Prskavec, Lukáš Rohan and actual world champion Vít Přindiš.

The day before the start of the World Cup race in Prague – Troja (June 8-11, 2023), the competitors received their starting numbers from a representative of the city management at the mayor's residence. On Wednesday, June 7, they welcomed Jessica Fox, Petr Kauzer, Jiří Prskavec, Ricarda Funk, Vít Přindiš, Lukáš Rohan, Amália Hilgertová, Tereza Fišerová and other stars to the festive reception.

On Thursday 8 June 2023, the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup will return to Prague's Troja for the nineteenth time. Czech competitors together with the director of the organising committee of the World Cup Jiří Rohan and the head coach of the national team Jiří Prskavec Sr. met with media representatives at a traditional press conference at the Boutique Hotel Yalta. He believes in the success of the national team and the support of the fans from the start of the race on Thursday until Sunday.

Paddleride with the 100 years of the Czech Radio was traditionally taking place a weekend before the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup in Prague. On Sunday 4 June, almost 100 sport fans and 35 boats participated in this unique event starting from the Boathouse in Prague – Troja. Also Czech competitors including the silver Olympic medallist from Tokyo Lukáš Rohan did not miss the chance.

The current world champion from last year's Augsburg, Vít Přindiš, has a special motivation to compete this year. He will start the season symbolically again at the Eiskanal on German soil, but one of the highlights of the season will be the second of the World Cups in this year's series - at home in Prague-Troja next week. After last year's failure in the semi-finals, when he was knocked down by two penalty touches, one of the best kayakers in the world would like to shine in front of his fans and loved ones. The K1 women's and K1 men's categories will fight for medals on Friday afternoon. More than 390 boats from 45 countries will start in Troja, including a competitor from the Comoros Islands for the first time.
